Konrad Linke

Konrad Linke was born in Jena, Germany. He studied Modern History, British Literature and Media Sciences in Jena, Aberdeen, and Berkeley. During this time he worked as teaching assistant, as assistant for the department chair, and as freelance translator. In 2007 he received his M.A. degree with a thesis exploring resistance and cooperation in the Tanforan Assembly Center. In 2012 he received his PhD with a dissertation on the Tulare Assembly Center and the Gila River War Relocation Camp. He currently does research on the John A. Roebling's Sons Company on a Thyssen foundation scholarship and can be reached at [email protected]..
