Kyna Herzinger

Kyna Herzinger is a special collections and manuscripts librarian for the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources. As a Yonsei, raised in the Pacific Northwest, Kyna took her interest in Japanese-American history to the South where she received her M.L.I.S. and M.A. in Public History from the University of South Carolina in 2010. Her Master's thesis, "'Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Japs'," explores Nikkei identities at Minidoka.
