Morgen Young

Morgen Young is a consulting historian based in Portland, Oregon. She specializes in Pacific Northwest history, community history, history of medicine, exhibit development, oral history, and historic preservation. Her clients have included universities, medical centers, port authorities, historical societies, and other non-profit organizations. Since 2012, she has served as the project director of Uprooted: Japanese American Farm Labor Camps During World War II . A traveling photography exhibition, Uprooted examines the involvement of Nikkei in seasonal farm labor through federal photographer Russell Lee's 1942 documentation of four camps in Oregon and Idaho.
