While Emi and Kuromiya tell their stories on camera, actor Ralph Brannen voices the words of Kuromiya and Omura. Paul Tsuneishi, a veteran and a member of the <a href=\"/wiki/Japanese_American_Citizens_League\" title=\"Japanese American Citizens League\">Japanese American Citizens League</a> (JACL) who supported the cause of the draft resisters, provides on camera narration and background. Interviews with lawyer Deborah K. Lim, author of <i><a href=\"/wiki/Lim_Report\" title=\"Lim Report\">The Lim Report</a></i>, and historian Art Hansen are also included. The title refers both to divisions between <a href=\"/wiki/Issei\" title=\"Issei\">Issei</a> and <a href=\"/wiki/Nisei\" title=\"Nisei\">Nisei</a> during the war and between the JACL and those who resisted aspects of the mass incarceration.\n</p><p>Director Yashima, an actor and the daughter of artists <a href=\"/wiki/Taro_Yashima\" title=\"Taro Yashima\">Taro Yashima</a> and <a href=\"/wiki/Mitsu_Yashima\" title=\"Mitsu Yashima\">Mitsu Yashima</a>, learned about the resisters from playwright and writer Frank Chin. Chin later wrote a script about the resisters and asked Yashima to be its narrator. The show evolved over time with the resisters adding to their own stories in various presentations of the show, leading eventually to the film.\n</p>\n<div id=\"authorByline\"><b>Authored by <a href=\"/wiki/Brian_Niiya\" title=\"Brian Niiya\">Brian Niiya</a>, Densho</b></div>\n<div id=\"citationAuthor\" style=\"display:none;\">Niiya, Brian</div>\n<div id=\"RelatedArticlesDisplay\">\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Related_Articles\">Related Articles</span></h2>\n<p>\n</p>\n<div id=\"RelatedArticlesSectionDisplay\">\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"\"></span></h3>\n<p>\n</p>\n<ul><li> <a href=\"/wiki/Dramatic_films/videos_on_incarceration\" title=\"Dramatic films/videos on incarceration\">Dramatic films/videos on incarceration</a></li></ul>\n</div>\n</div>\n<br/>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"For_More_Information\">For More Information</span></h2>\n<p>Yashima, Momo. \"<a class=\"external text\" href=\"http://www.discovernikkei.org/en/journal/2012/7/6/momo-her-own-words/\" rel=\"nofollow\">MOMO: In Her Own Words.</a>\" DiscoverNikkei website, July 6, 2012.\n</p>\n<!-- \nNewPP limit report\nCPU time usage: 0.112 seconds\nReal time usage: 0.113 seconds\nPreprocessor visited node count: 404/1000000\nPreprocessor generated node count: 2697/1000000\nPost‐expand include size: 9605/2097152 bytes\nTemplate argument size: 2013/2097152 bytes\nHighest expansion depth: 4/40\nExpensive parser function count: 0/100\nExtLoops count: 0/100\n-->\n<!-- Saved in parser cache with key mediawiki:pcache:idhash:2469-0!*!0!!*!*!* and timestamp 20170713021147 and revision id 25664\n -->\n<div class=\"toplink\"><a href=\"#top\"><i class=\"icon-chevron-up\"></i> Top</a></div></body></html>",
