The play juxtaposes the romance with the conflicts over the institution of the <a href=\"/wiki/Loyalty_questionnaire\" title=\"Loyalty questionnaire\">loyalty questionnaire</a>. <i>Harry Kelly</i> debuted at East West Players (EWP) in Los Angeles on April 4, 1974, in a production directed by <a href=\"/wiki/Mako\" title=\"Mako\">Mako</a>. With the support of the California Arts Council, EWP toured the play to various community institutions in California in 1976–77.<a href=\"#cite_note-1\">[1]</a>\n</p>\n<div id=\"authorByline\"><b>Authored by <a href=\"/wiki/Brian_Niiya\" title=\"Brian Niiya\">Brian Niiya</a>, Densho</b></div>\n<div id=\"citationAuthor\" style=\"display:none;\">Niiya, Brian</div>\n<div id=\"RelatedArticlesDisplay\">\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Related_Articles\">Related Articles</span></h2>\n<p>\n</p>\n<div id=\"RelatedArticlesSectionDisplay\">\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"\"></span></h3>\n<p>\n</p>\n<ul><li> <a href=\"/wiki/Plays_on_incarceration\" title=\"Plays on incarceration\">Plays on incarceration</a></li></ul>\n</div>\n</div>\n<br/>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"For_More_Information\">For More Information</span></h2>\n<p>\"<a class=\"external text\" href=\"http://www.oac.cdlib.org/findaid/ark:/13030/tf1489n74f/entire_text/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Finding Aid for the East West Players Records, 1965–1992</a>.\" Charles E.
