\n This local nonprofit organization has created a museum to depict the local history of Minidoka County dating from to the 19th century homesteading experiences through the development of power plants in the region in the early 20th century. The museum is home to an original Pacific Depot building dating back to 1906 as well as examples of early firefighting equipment, soda fountain confections, agricultural implements, and numerous photographs.\n \n Minidoka\n \n detention center, which was located approximately 40 miles west during WWII is also featured in the exhibits with particular emphasis on the experience of the Hunt Camp High School.\n
