Produced by the California Historical Society in 1972 as a companion to its\n <i>\n <a class=\"encyc rg\" href=\"/Executive_Order_9066_(exhibition)/\" title=\"Executive Order 9066 (exhibition)\">\n Executive Order 9066\n </a>\n </i>\n photographic exhibition,\n <i>\n Months of Waiting\n </i>\n toured several venues from 1972 to 1974.\n </p>\n <p>\n <i>\n Months of Waiting\n </i>\n included seventy-four works by six artists:\n <a class=\"encyc notrg\" href=\"/Hisako_Hibi/\" title=\"Hisako Hibi\">\n Hisako Hibi\n </a>\n ,\n <a class=\"encyc notrg\" href=\"/George_Matsusaburo_Hibi/\" title=\"George Matsusaburo Hibi\">\n Matsusaburo Hibi\n </a>\n ,\n <a class=\"encyc notrg\" href=\"/Estelle_Ishigo/\" title=\"Estelle Ishigo\">\n Estelle Ishigo\n </a>\n ,\n <a class=\"encyc notrg\" href=\"/Chiura_Obata/\" title=\"Chiura Obata\">\n Chiura Obata\n </a>\n ,\n <a class=\"mw-redirect encyc notrg\" href=\"/Mine_Okubo/\" title=\"Mine Okubo\">\n Miné Okubo\n </a>\n , and\n <a class=\"encyc notrg\" href=\"/Henry_Sugimoto/\" title=\"Henry Sugimoto\">\n Henry Sugimoto\n </a>\n . Debuting at the California Historical Society in February 1972, it traveled to Stanford University in April, to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles in June and July, and the California State Capitol Rotunda in November. Subsequent venues included the Portland (Oregon) Museum in February 1973, The Arcade in Cleveland, Ohio, in April and May 1973, and the Pioneer Museum in Stockton, California, in October 1974.
