The film includes interviews with many of the organizers of the 1969 pilgrimage and archival footage and photographs of that event and of related events from that time. Directed and edited by Tadashi Nakamura, the film was a production of the Center for EthnoCommunications of the UCLA Asian American Studies Center in 2008. The film is dedicated to the memory of <a href=\"/wiki/Sue_Kunitomi_Embrey\" title=\"Sue Kunitomi Embrey\">Sue Kunitomi Embrey</a>, who passed away in 2006. It was funded in part by grants from the California Civil Liberties Public Education Fund, the UCLA in LA Center for Community Partnerships, the California Wellness Foundation, and the Center for Asian American Media.\n</p>\n<div id=\"authorByline\"><b>Authored by <a href=\"/wiki/Brian_Niiya\" title=\"Brian Niiya\">Brian Niiya</a>, Densho</b></div>\n<div id=\"citationAuthor\" style=\"display:none;\">Niiya, Brian</div>\n<div id=\"RelatedArticlesDisplay\">\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Related_Articles\">Related Articles</span></h2>\n<p>\n</p>\n<div id=\"RelatedArticlesSectionDisplay\">\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"\"></span></h3>\n<p>\n</p>\n<ul><li> <a href=\"/wiki/Dramatic_films/videos_on_incarceration\" title=\"Dramatic films/videos on incarceration\">Dramatic films/videos on incarceration</a></li></ul>\n</div>\n</div>\n<br/>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"For_More_Information\">For More Information</span></h2>\n<p>Official website: <a class=\"external free\" href=\"http://tadashinakamura.com/Tadashi_Nakamura/Pilgrimage.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">http://tadashinakamura.com/Tadashi_Nakamura/Pilgrimage.html</a>.\n</p><p><i><a class=\"external text\" href=\"http://vimeo.com/41131994\" rel=\"nofollow\">Pilgrimage</a></i> on Vimeo\n</p><p>Monnier, Mia Nakaji. \"<a class=\"external text\" href=\"http://www.discovernikkei.org/en/journal/2011/1/14/tad-nakamura/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Their Struggles Are Our Struggles</a>,\" Discover Nikkei website, January 14, 2011.\n</p>\n<!-- \nNewPP limit report\nCPU time usage: 0.104 seconds\nReal time usage: 0.106 seconds\nPreprocessor visited node count: 391/1000000\nPreprocessor generated node count: 2673/1000000\nPost‚Äźexpand include size: 8977/2097152 bytes\nTemplate argument size: 2216/2097152 bytes\nHighest expansion depth: 4/40\nExpensive parser function count: 0/100\nExtLoops count: 0/100\n-->\n<!-- Saved in parser cache with key mediawiki:pcache:idhash:1473-0!*!0!!*!*!* and timestamp 20170713021118 and revision id 25791\n -->\n<div class=\"toplink\"><a href=\"#top\"><i class=\"icon-chevron-up\"></i> Top</a></div></body></html>",
