This first survey of Hayashi's work included pieces from five different sets of work: abandoned prisons, EPA Superfund sites, Japanese American and Japanese Canadian concentration camps, sacred sites, and portraits of <a href=\"/wiki/Nikkei\" title=\"Nikkei\">Nikkei</a>. The five Nikkei portraits—of Fumi Hayashida, <a href=\"/wiki/Yuri_Kochiyama\" title=\"Yuri Kochiyama\">Yuri Kochiyama</a>, Joy Kogawa, <a href=\"/wiki/Mine_Okubo\" title=\"Mine Okubo\">Miné Okubo</a>, and Eji Suyama—were displayed for the first time.\n</p>\n<div id=\"authorByline\"><b>Authored by <a href=\"/wiki/Brian_Niiya\" title=\"Brian Niiya\">Brian Niiya</a>, Densho</b></div>\n<div id=\"citationAuthor\" style=\"display:none;\">Niiya, Brian</div>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"For_More_Information\">For More Information</span></h2>\n<p><i>Sights Unseen</i> at Japanese American National Museum website: <a class=\"external free\" href=\"http://www.janm.org/exhibits/hayashi/\" rel=\"nofollow\">http://www.janm.org/exhibits/hayashi/</a>.\n</p><p>Hayashi, Masumi. <i>Sights Unseen: The Photographic Constructions of Masumi Hayashi: May 31 – September 14, 2003</i>.
