She earned a BA at the University of California, Riverside, an MFA in Creative Writing at Syracuse University, and is currently a PhD student in English and Creative Writing at Texas Tech University where she studies 20th Century American poetry and Asian American literature. Her poems have appeared in a number of journals and magazines, most recently the <i>Arroyo Literary Review</i> and <i>The Comstock Review</i>, as well as the anthologies <i>Bear Flag Republic: Prose Poems and Poetics from California</i> and <i>Aspects of Robinson: Homage to Weldon Kees</i>.
