She authored\n \n Moving Walls: Preserving the Barracks of America's Concentration Camps\n \n and co-authored\n \n Jive Bomber: A Sentimental Journey\n \n , a book by the founding president of the Japanese American National Museum. As a consultant to the Japanese American National Museum, she has served as editor of the Museum Magazine and project director of\n \n An American Son: George Aratani, Founder of Mikasa and Kenwood\n \n and\n \n The Encyclopedia of Japanese American History from A to Z\n \n . She has written articles for the\n \n Los Angeles Times\n \n , and is currently a columnist for the Los Angeles daily newspaper,\n \n The Rafu Shimpo\n \n .\n
