In this image, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas T. Sashihara are shown checking their work hours in terms of payroll records. The Sashiharas were preparing to resettle back east, and were reconciling their accounts before leaving the camp. Bud is at the center, handing the Sashiharas a document.",

Mr. Sashihara is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he obtained his degree in Pharmacy. Mrs. Sashihara majored in Education at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she obtained her degree.
