Alan Rosenfeld is an assistant professor of history at the University of Hawai'i - West O'ahu, where he teaches courses in European and world history. His recent publications include "'Anarchist Amazons: The Gendering of Radicalism in 1970s West Germany" in the Journal of Contemporary European History and "'An Everlasting Scar': Civilian Internment on Wartime Kaua'i" in The Hawaiian Journal of History.
