Grant Din

Grant Din was co-curator of Taken From Their Families: Japanese American Incarceration on Angel Island During World War II , an online and permanent exhibit located at the Angel Island State Park in San Francisco Bay. A descendant of four Angel Island immigrants, he has done extensive research on the internees who passed through the island during the war, and on immigrants who were detained between 1910 and 1940. Grant has worked on historical, organizational, and fundraising issues for nonprofit organizations, filmmakers, and government agencies, and on genealogy research for individuals and businesses. His articles have appeared in historical and genealogical publications, and he has spoken to university classes, genealogical and community organizations, libraries, and museums.
