Nancy Matsumoto

Nancy Matsumoto is a New York-based freelance writer and editor who covers Japanese American issues, food, art and culture. Her articles have appeared in The Los Angeles Times , The Wall Street Journal , Time , People and Newsweek , among other publications. She is a contributor to Discover Nikkei , which posted her 18-part series Documenting Manzanar , about three photographers who left a visual record of the U.S. government prison camp. Nancy is also co-author of the book The Parent's Guide to Eating Disorders ; blogs at Walking and Talking , and is currently working to produce an English-language version of her grandparent's book of tanka poetry, Michigan Kohan .
