Consisting of ninety framed photographs with captions, text panels, and titles,\n <i>\n U.S. Detention Camps\n </i>\n was likely the first exhibition to go beyond the story of the ten\n <a class=\"encyc notrg\" href=\"/War_Relocation_Authority/\" title=\"War Relocation Authority\">\n War Relocation Authority\n </a>\n administered camps to include the so-called \"\n <a class=\"encyc notrg\" href=\"/Assembly_centers/\" title=\"Assembly centers\">\n assembly centers\n </a>\n \" as well as the\n <a class=\"encyc notrg\" href=\"/Sites_of_incarceration/\" title=\"Sites of incarceration\">\n enemy alien detention camps\n </a>\n administered by the army and by the Justice Department as a part of the larger story.
