She earned a BA at the University of California, Riverside, an MFA in Creative Writing at Syracuse University, and is currently a PhD student in English and Creative Writing at Texas Tech University where she studies 20th Century American poetry and Asian American literature. Her poems have appeared in a number of journals and magazines, most recently the\n  <i>\n   Arroyo Literary Review\n  </i>\n  and\n  <i>\n   The Comstock Review\n  </i>\n  , as well as the anthologies\n  <i>\n   Bear Flag Republic: Prose Poems and Poetics from California\n  </i>\n  and\n  <i>\n   Aspects of Robinson: Homage to Weldon Kees\n  </i>\n  .
