His documentary film\n  <i>\n   The First Battle\n  </i>\n  /PBS 2005 and short film\n  <i>\n   Ganbare\n  </i>\n  /standing exhibit, Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i, are antecedents of his current research and writing project about Yoshida, Ching and the Morale Section.
