Hikaru [Carl] Iwasaki (standing, right) photographs Japan's Prince Akihiro (in black), 1953. Over the course of his career with Time, Life, and People, Iwasaki did shoots with U.S. presidents (Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon, and Ford) and many distinguished Americans, including then Jackie Kennedy and her children on vacation in Colorado.
