Jane Hong

Jane Hong is finishing her Ph.D. in history at Harvard University. She received a B.A. from Yale University and an A.M. from Brown University, both in history. Her current project examines the movement to repeal the Asian exclusion laws during World War II and the early Cold War, situating it in the context of changing race relations at home and U.S. foreign policy in Asia. Jane is a second-generation Korean American and an alumna of Teach for America in Newark, NJ. She lives in Brooklyn, New York, and can be reached at [email protected] .
