Kyna Herzinger

Kyna Herzinger is an archivist and records manager for the Presbyterian Historical Society. As a Yonsei raised in the Northwest, Kyna took her interest in Japanese American history to the South where she received her M.L.I.S. and M.A from the University of South Carolina and used her master’s thesis to explore Nikkei identities at Minidoka. Kyna has also presented on archival approaches to collecting Japanese American narratives at the National Council on Public History and served as a member of the Advisory Council for the Russell Lee in Four Northwest Japanese-American Agricultural Internment Camps grant.
