Ann Hotta Ann Hotta, Ph.D. UC Berkeley (Library and Information Studies), worked in libraries for over three decades. In 1994 she was a Japan Foundation Fellow and conducted research in Japan on bunko , volunteer neighborhood libraries for children. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
