Marie Masumoto

Marie Masumoto is the daughter of a Nisei father and native Japanese mother and grew up in the Los Angeles area. She has been a volunteer for the National Coalition for Redress and Reparations (NCRR) and the Japanese American National Museum (JANM) and later worked in the JANM bookstore and its Hirasaki National Resource Center as the Senior Research Assistant. She volunteers at Manzanar National Historic Site assisting with the annual Pilgrimage and archeological excavations and giving garden tours. She currently resides in San Pedro, California.
