Marie Sato

Marie Sato received her M.A. in Asian American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. Drawing from her analyses of oral history interviews, autobiography, and archives, her M.A. thesis, "Creating Food and Identity: Okinawan Women in Diaspora," examines the transnational life histories of Okinawan women with a focus on food narratives.
