Jonathan van Harmelen

Jonathan van Harmelen is a historian of Japanese American history. He completed his PhD in history at UC Santa Cruz, where he wrote a dissertation on the role of Congress in the wartime incarceration of Japanese Americans. His work has appeared in several journals, and he is a columnist for the Japanese American National Museum's blog Discover Nikkei. He can be reached at [email protected].
